This esteemed event, created by the expert taster Tom Stevenson, is considered the most authoritative in the world.
Our La Montina 2018 Brut has been recognized as the “World Champion Classic Vintage Brut 2023”.. This is the highest recognition in the “Vintage” category, which encompasses “Riserva” wines—vintage wines produced exclusively in exceptional years when the grapes attain rare quality, allowing them to mature in the bottle for at least 5 years.
We are delighted to share the great satisfaction we’ve experienced at home as well. Members of the Italian Sommelier Association of Lombardy have rendered their unequivocal verdict, awarding three La Montina labels.
The prestigious ViniPlus 2024 Guide has awarded a special recognition, the “Golden Rose” upon our Franciacorta Brut Nature Quor Riserva 2016. Additionally, the guide has awarded four “Rose Camune” to the Franciacorta Demi-sec Rosé and the Franciacorta Brut Satèn.
We always believed that our Franciacorta DOCG Brut Nature Quor Riserva 2016 was destined for a successful and satisfying career.
So, it didn’t entirely surprise us, but certainly filled us with pride, when it achieved the highest recognition of “Quattro Viti” in the tenth edition of Guida Vitae Vini 2024, published by the Italian Sommelier Association.
Once again, being awarded by those who really know what it means is a precious recognition of the commitment and quality of our entire team’s efforts.
Vinibuoni d’Italia is not just a guide, is the only one dedicated to wines from native vines, published by the Italian Touring Club.
In the 2023 edition, celebrating its twentieth anniversary, three of our Franciacorta DOCGs were awarded 4 stars in the “classic method sparkling wines” section: the Extra Brut, the Brut Nature Quor Riserva 2016, and the Rosé Demi Sec.
Moreover, the Brut Nature Quor Riserva 2016 obtained two Crowns. One from the regional coordinators of the Guide for wines with the highest scores in the selection commissions. The other assigned from guest commissions, consisting of journalists, operators, sommeliers and wine enthusiasts. After such recognition, we all feel better.
