Our Award-Winning Franciacorta Wines:
Rosé Extra Brut and Dosage Zéro Score 94 Points from Falstaff
Among the top Franciacorta wines recognized by the Falstaff 2025 guide are two Montina labels: Franciacorta Rosé Extra Brut and Franciacorta Dosage Zéro, both awarded 94 points.
This achievement highlights the daily work carried out in the vineyard and the cellar, where every decision is guided by balance, precision, and respect for the land.
Franciacorta Rosé Extra Brut – Elegance and Character
Franciacorta Rosé Extra Brut is crafted from Pinot Noir grapes grown in our most prized vineyards and harvested by hand.
A brief maceration on the skins gives the must its delicate pink hue before fermentation begins, followed by a long period of aging on the lees.
The result is a refined wine with a fine, persistent perlage, offering notes of crisp red fruits, citrus zest, and subtle toasted nuances.
It is a Rosé that perfectly expresses the Franciacorta style—combining freshness and structure in a beautifully precise balance.

Franciacorta Dosage Zéro – Pure Expression
Dosage Zéro represents the most authentic expression of our approach to Franciacorta.
Made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, it undergoes no sugar addition after disgorgement: it is a “naked,” pure wine that reflects the true character of the grapes and their origin.
This style requires absolute precision: only flawless base wines—with perfect acidity and maturity—can become a Dosage Zéro.
The extended aging on the lees adds depth, aromatic finesse, and a structure that evolves gracefully over time.
In the glass, it is dry and vibrant, with notes of ripe fruit, citrus, honey, and a delicate mineral elegance.
Starting from October, it will also be available in a Magnum format—ideal for special occasions and for appreciating its full evolution over time.
