The most anticipated event of the year for all of us and for lovers of Metodo Classico is back: the Festival Franciacorta in Cantina 2026. On Saturday, September 19th, and Sunday, September 20th, we are delighted to open the doors of our estate for a special weekend celebrating our Franciacorta wines, local cuisine prepared by Villa Baiana, and great company, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Monticelli Brusati hills.

Saturday, September 19th: Guided Tours & Tasting Journeys

Saturday is dedicated to guests who wish to discover the history of our estate, stroll through our charming barrel cellars, and explore our cuvées through guided tasting routes.

Our Franciacorta Tasting Itineraries

Throughout the day on Saturday, you can choose from four classic Montina tasting routes, each paired with a selection of local cured meats and cheeses:

  • Impronta: An introductory journey to discover the signature style and elegance of our winery.
  • Trilogia: A guided tasting of three distinct expressions of Franciacorta to appreciate the nuances of dosage and aging.
  • Essenza: Designed for those who want to experience the purest soul of our vineyards and raw ingredients.
  • Memoria: Our most exclusive offering, dedicated to our reserve wines and cuvées aged the longest on the lees.

Sunday, September 20th: Winery Tours, Food Stations & Soleil Party

Sunday’s program is split into two main highlights, designed to blend the winery experience with culinary offerings from Villa Baiana and the excitement of a sunset party.

Morning & Early Afternoon: Guided Tours & Food Stations

  • Guided Tour Departures: 10:30 AM, 11:00 AM, and 11:30 AM (Italian language only).
  • Morning Entry Package (€20 per person): Includes a guided tour of the winery, a glass holder pouch, a polypropylene tasting glass, and 1 tasting ticket for our Franciacorta Extra Brut.
  • Food Stations by Villa Baiana: From 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM, food stations curated by the Villa Baiana kitchen will be open, offering dishes crafted to elevate our sparkling wines.

Afternoon Break: From 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the estate will be temporarily closed to allow our staff time for setup and cleaning.

Late Afternoon & Evening: Sunset Soleil Party

  • Reopening & Tours: Final guided tours depart at 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM.
  • Soleil Party & DJ Set: The evening event to celebrate the Franciacorta Festival accompanied by music and a sunset DJ set.
  • Continuous Food Stations: Food stations by Villa Baiana will remain fully operational throughout the evening party to pair delicious food with your glass of wine.
  • Evening Entry Package (€28 per person): Includes a guided tour of the winery, a glass holder pouch with polypropylene tasting glass, 1 tasting ticket for Franciacorta Extra Brut, and exclusive access to the Soleil Party.

Can I visit the estate just for a tasting without taking the guided tour?

Yes, you are welcome to visit our estate solely to taste our Franciacorta wines or enjoy the Food Stations, without participating in the guided cellar tour.

Can I visit the estate without a reservation?

Yes, but with a few important distinctions to ensure we provide you with the best possible experience:

  • For guided tours: Reservations are always required. You cannot join a tour without booking in advance.
  • For tastings only: Walk-ins without a reservation are permitted only on Saturday morning (Sept 19) and Sunday morning (Sept 20).
  • For the Soleil Party (Sunday evening, Sept 20): Admission is by reservation only, even for guests attending just the party and not the winery tour.

Can I attend the Soleil Party without taking the winery tour?

Yes, you can join exclusively for the party without taking the guided tour. Entry opens at 6:00 PM and requires prior reservation.

Will the event take place in case of bad weather?

Yes, the event will go ahead rain or shine. Cellar tours take place indoors within our historic cellars, and Villa Baiana offers covered indoor spaces for both tastings and the party.

Are pets allowed?

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor areas and gardens of the estate during the tastings on Saturday and Sunday morning. Due to health and hygiene regulations, pets are not allowed in the production and aging areas during guided cellar tours.

Please note: Pets are not permitted during the Sunday evening Soleil Party.

Do children or minors need an admission ticket?

Minors can join the guided tour free of charge. Naturally, wine tastings are strictly reserved for guests aged 18 and over.

Are vegetarian or allergy-friendly options available at the Food Stations?

Yes, the food stations curated by Villa Baiana include vegetarian choices as well as options catering to major dietary restrictions and food intolerances.
